Conveyor Roller Tube (Pipe)
We use them in conveyor roller production (carrier roller, impact roller, return roller, and stub roller), using seam steel or solid drawn steel pipes and tubes having qualities of St 33 or St 37-2 and with the dimensions of 60x3-3.5mm, 76x3-3.5mm, 89x3-3.5-4-5mm, 108x3-3.5-4-4.5-5mm, 114x3-3.5-4mm, 127x3-3.5-4-4.5-5mm, 133x3-3.5-4-4.5-5-6mm, 159x4-4.5-5-6mm, 193x6-7mm.
Wall thicknesses of tubes and pipes used in conveyor roller production should be chosen according to and directly proportionally to the load to be carried or transferred, width of the belt and velocity of system. We excessively take care to wall thicknesses, shape of roundness, bending and balance of the pipes in roller manufacturing. So we test the quality of those attributes prior to procurement of pipes and tubes. Any uncontrolled or untested material for conforming dimensions or wall thicknesses may result in deficiency and malfunction or bending of products.
Solid drawn steel (seamless) pipes and welded pipes (seam pipes) are optionally demanded by clients. In case the wall thickness of the pipe is less than required thickness, under loaded operation that pipe will bend too much and its shape will get oval, meanwhile it will be chapped or be torn so as to damage maybe hundreds o meters of conveyor belt. On the contrary if the thickness is more than required, then whole system will unnecessarily get heavier and be slower. There will be a difficulty in assembly and disassembly of conveyor rollers. Especially in thermal power plants, some foreigner turnkey manufacturers want to make the whole system in accordance with the specifications for the pipe dimensions in their home country to maintain dependency to spare parts of their products for a long term.
In our country due to difficulty to find every dimensions of solid drawn steel pipes, welded steel pipes are much preferred. In terms of quality and durability there is no difference between those two when the production is made in accordance with standards and the pipes are calibrated.
